Journal Bliss

Bonsoir, mes amies! I'm up way later than I should be, but I wanted to post some pictures of my journal. Friday night I played around with Journal Bliss (uber fab book, I highly recommend it!), and this is what I created with acrylic paints, magazine cut-outs, charcoal pencils, etc. (Um yes, I attempted to draw/doodle despite my complete LACK of artistic ability. That's what Journal Bliss is all about, no?)

Be back later with my weekly goals!!

  1. How fun! I went to BN to pick up Journal Bliss but they didn't have it. Boo. Quick question - which acrylic paints did you end up buying as a result of reading the book?

  2. I love your pages, especially the one with chandelier. The couch and butterfly pages were awesome too.

Isn't the acrylic paint smear the most fun & easiest thing ever. (And the Folk Art paints, I think that's what they're called, are super cheap)

Looks like you had an amazing weekend (enjoyed your late night musings post on your blog!)

  3. your pages....i love the Moroccan peak one with the chandelier.....too cool! Hooray for doodling! Thanks for the kind words about Journal Bliss. I'm happy you like it.

    Love, Violette

  4. Ohhh this is so cool! I might need to check this book out now!

  5. The Journal Bliss pages you did are so inspiring. Thank you so much for sharing these with us.
